I feel like I have created a lot of ideas that I am happy with and that I can develop and expand upon when it comes to my final images,
I've tried to work within a series of definitions, as I felt like it was easier to generate my ideas this way, and I was also able to develop certain ones within the series so that my ideas became more properly thought out.
The only thing I am going to find difficult is choosing only 10 from the selection.
I really like most of my ideas from one or 2 of the definitions.
To melt/liquefy, and to disappear/fade away were the more successful for idea generation, and these designs look more developed than some of the others where my thoughts and ideas were a little more random.
The brief states we must work in black and white, which made designing a little more restrained, as dissolve would be perfect for using several shades, especially gray scale, but I also feel like this requirement has worked quite well in terms of the contrasts and the strength of the visual statements.
It's also helped to make the more obscure designs relate more obviously to the word dissolve, especially the ones to do with fading and disappearing, as the image is more immediate on the viewer.
All the designs used pencil or black pen, but with the presentation of the final collection, I would like to experiment a little more with my use of media.
Next stop, final designs, (yayyyyyyyy.)
