Booklet design

To reach our audience, we also had the idea of creating booklets to explain the concept, and possibly post them into students pigeonholes throughout the college. Here is some inspiration I found for it.

All of these have a similar identity and style to ours, and I think that all of these pieces look very professional, sleek and contemporary. Everything is kept clean and uncomplicated, yet it all looks very  iconic, in particular the Factory Records piece.

Because of the simple concept, we need to keep the text and layout communicating in a similar manner.

For the front of the booklet I wanted to play around with the use of black white and yellow, and I think that it looks most effective in this final piece, where it is large and off centre, as it adds some visual interest  whilst looking clean and uncluttered.

The text we have used is straight to the point and communicates effectively what we do, and I think it created enough interest to encourage traffic to the site.

We also created this barcode which will take you to the website after capturing it with your smart phone, so people can either type in the link or be taken to it in this magical virtual way.

It's set up and prepared to print now, and hopefully everything will look beautiful!
