Design for Web Crit

Questions I asked before the feedback
Does the site look easy to use/easy to navigate
Do you think the simple design works well, or should I add more to it?
Should I apply the keyhole design from the homepage to the other pages like a logo?
Is there anything I could add in particular to make it more engaging?
What kind of audience do you think would visit a site about prohibition era/cocktails?
Have I targeted them in terms of design?
Should I use colour or keep it black and white so it is in keeping with the prohibition era?

Strengths
Planned in depth
Clean cut - easy navigation
Layout easy to read and understand
Good type hierarchy, simple.
Black and white use of colour suits the context
Design appropriate for intended audience

Areas for Improvement
Could have a more interactive layout. More imagery of being in a bar environment which would then allow you to click on things
Should add a limited amount of colour

Considerations
Include the keyhole as a logo, but simplify the characteristics
Could go one step further and make the pages like a scene, such as drinks in the foreground and the hustle and bustle of a bar in the background, such as the sound of chatter.
The cocktail page could be a slideshow format with arrows instead of a scroll.
