These are some examples of the development of the homepage. I want the main focus to be on the keyhole image, which relates well to the idea of the speakeasy and the prohibition era being quite secretive. The whole style is in keeping with the actual era of prohibition as well so that it is obvious what the site is about to the target audience, and I want it to be quite minimal and sleek so that it targets the adult target market.
Overall I think the black background homepage works the best, as it displays the keyhole in a more subtle way, and also links to the idea of peering through the keyhole whilst the rest is in darkness. Stylistically I feel it just stands out more also.
