Here are some possibilities for type and layout that I would use on the covers of my LP publications. I want to create them as part of a set, so the layout would be the same for each cover, but the colours I use would change for each band I create a publication on.
As I am exploring the most tasteful decade of the 1980's, I have tried to keep typefaces and layouts in a similar vein to those used back then. This will obviously appeal more to the music enthusiasts of the 1980's, so I am unsure at the moment whether to go down this route, or have a more neutral design that would reach a broader audience.
