As I am now creating the branding and identity for Poppy's Dairy, and I want the design to be high end but also personable, I have decided to use a mix of serif typeface and hand rendered illustrations, similar to this book which I think combines the two aspects well into something that looks stylish and sophisticated.
So far I just have a few experimentations with type and colour. One of the things discussed in the crit was that I perhaps needed to incorporate more of a sense of Britishness, but I wanted it to be subtle so I have tried to look at a more british colour palette.
