What is Good: Web Design Development

I decided that the block colour being used as the background was slightly boring, so I wanted to experiment with using a photographic background to add more visual interest. I have used an image of a cheese counter as opposed to an image of a cheese board or illustrations as the cheese counter image ties in more with the whole shop. Using the full colour image didn't look right when I tried it though, it looked a little distracting and busy with the red and cream that is already very prominent on the web page, so I decided to duotone the image in a similar red colour, which I think is more successful and keeps the branding consistent.
