More Progress

Having developed my ideas from Monday, I now feel like my alphabet and name badge are almost fully resolved. I will make some tweaks to it tomorrow and on Friday, but right now I'm quite pleased with it, and I'm almost kind of pleased with myself for getting my head down and actually working on it so much. (Snaps for me)

This is a very bad photo of my work, that I have placed onto our plan B tracing paper for the final presentation.

And this is the name badge we were asked to create to go with it.

I'm not sure if this will be too obvious for the Crit, as it's a generic name badge template that I've created in Ste's favourite colour, blue, and the typeface is a simple one like Ste told me he likes.

In general, I feel like my alphabet has worked very well, with only a few letters that I wish would have worked better, such as the O and the T. I will work more on them tomorrow though to make sure they look fully realised, they only really need minor adjustments. I'm happy that when his name is put together on the badge, the typeface seems to work together, as I was worried it would not look cohesive or as if it was part of the same typeface.
I'm also glad I used the style of illustration I have, as the line shading enhances the whole tattoo and urban style Ste likes, as well as creating more depth to it.

I just hope that Ste likes it now!
