How To Design Sheets

Continuing on from my ideas and initial thoughts to do with the topic of saving money on the christmas food spend, I started to work on some design sheets to try and develop the ideas and use the research I'd been looking at.

One idea I had was a promotional mail shot for my supermarket, an online price comparison store. You would receive a christmas card that folds out into an info graphic christmas tree, and using the comparisons taken from the website, the cheapest of each typical christmas food item (turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce etc) would be at the top of the christmas tree, whilst the more expensive items would be at the bottom. The use of the christmas tree is perfect for the idea of hierarchy used often in info graphics, and would provide families with a useful guide to help them prepare for their food shop.
The christmas tree would also be interactive, and would slot together, making it more interesting and eye catching to the viewer.

Obviously when we go into the crit tomorrow there will be several other ideas to share with everyone, but I'm quite confident that our group is on the right track.
