How to (Christmas Food Shop) Research

Although its only a small collection, I interviewed my mum before to see how much our family spend on our Christmas food shop.

She said that usually they buy food gradually, so that the cost is split between a couple of weeks instead of a massive splurge all in one go. 

She estimated that the spend on Christmas food comes to about £100. 

I also asked what she feels our family spends the most on during this period, and her answer was 

• the turkey and 
• alcohol. 

I also wanted to know what feels the cheapest items to buy are, and she said for definite the vegetables are the cheapest part of the Christmas meal.
