D&AD Alternative Ideas

Although I know the style of Erik Kessel's work is influenced by swiss modernism, and he never really uses illustration, I wanted to experiment with some ideas that would combine illustration and type.

This goes back to the idea of fashion and the rain, and I found a quote online that said 'There is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing', which I think works quite well for this brief.

Although I really like these ideas, I'm just not sure if I would be able to complete them to a high standard with only a short space of time left.
