I'm feeling a little uninspired by this stamp design brief, mainly because I have absolutely no idea to promote sustainability without sounding preachy or patronising.
I'm also trying to keep my ideas simple at the moment because I need to focus my idea quickly so that I can manage my time effectively for all of the briefs.
So far, I am not incredibly happy with any of the ideas, but it felt better to design them on the computer instead of doodling on the page and not being able to realise what would actually work.
At the moment, I'm liking this idea the most, because of the type creating the image of a downwards arrow, which emphasises the idea of minimising waste in daily life. But, it does look very cryptic if it were to stand alone although it might work as a set. It also looks very clinical, which I'm not sure would be a good or a bad thing at this point, because it makes the message less personal.
Some more incredibly simple ideas, I've been working with the text 'minimise impact maximise hope' but it seems really cheesy. The colours are also probably a little cliche seeing as it is to do with earth and eco friendliness and these are the colours mainly used.
I quite liked this idea of using a gradient and text, but it still needs a lot of work and development.
Maybe I shouldn't be using text at all, and try more to convey the message through image.
