What is a Line? Rationale

Actors lines/TV/Publication

BRIEF/What is the problem you intend to solve?
To promote and celebrate classic American comedy by creating a series of booklets/mini publications that use typography and image to reference famous quotes and iconography from the shows.

WHO NEEDS TO KNOW?/Who is your audience?
Adults and television fans - either those who wish to remember these shows, or those who wish to be educated on them now so they can go and seek them out

WHAT DO THEY NEED TO KNOW?/Be clear and specific
I am going to include famous quotes and images from the shows, and I also aim to display interesting trivia, best moments/episodes and also the best cameos. They need to know that their favourite tv shows are still appreciated.

WHAT WILL THEY RESPOND TO?/How will they connect with and understand the outcome?
They will respond to the nostalgia of the shows, through the references and the quotes, and because of the subject, they will respond to the humour.

WHAT RESEARCH IS REQUIRED?/What do you need to know to complete this brief?
Primary - Collect quotes and information from my chosen television shows.

Secondary - Any research relating to conceptual packaging, publication and magazine design.
