Mock Ups

I have been unsure of the format of my work for what is a line - whether to pursue a similar style to the hot dog fold out booklet we created in our design principles workshop, or whether a more traditional booklet would be better, so I decided to make mock ups to see which one works better. 

Mock Up  - Fold Out A1 poster

The benefit of this format would be a poster that the recipient could then put up after reading the booklet, and it would have more of a lasting purpose, and people could always be reminded of the quotes, however, for the size of poster I would want, the folding is quite awkward and the booklet opening itself is also not great, its too large and would be difficult to use.

Mock Up - A5 Booklet

Although with this format you could not have a poster at the end of it, it is more compact and readable, and also looks neater and would be more easily put together, so I will be working to an A5 booklet size in  Indesign.
